Day 1 Istanbul – Belgrade
Meeting at the AJET Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, 3 hours before our flight. We depart for Belgrade via a limited number of AJET Airlines flights. After a comfortable and pleasant flight, we arrive and complete entry procedures. Then, with our private bus, we begin our city tour of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, a new symbol of vibrancy and activity, and one of Europe's oldest cities. Among the places to visit are the Old Palace adorned with magnificent carved ceilings from the Turkish period, the Millennium Monument, Belgrade Fortress (a supply center of the Ottoman Navy where Fatih Sultan Mehmed was wounded but whose conquest was granted to Kanuni Sultan Süleyman) located at the point where the Sava River joins the Danube, Kalemegdan Square, Tašmajdan Park, Military Museum, the tomb of Şehit Ali Paşa, and Bayraklı Mosque. After our tour, we visit the Belgrade Christmas Market. Overnight stay at our hotel in Belgrade.
Day 2 Belgrade
After breakfast, guests who wish may spend the day freely or join the Novi Sad - Sremski Karlovci Tour. Upon completion of our tour, we head back to Belgrade. Overnight at our hotel.
Extra Tour: Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci Tour: 75 Euro
In this tour, we set off in the morning by our private vehicle to Novi Sad. Our first stop is Sremski Karlovci. In this beautiful town, after negotiations lasting 72 days in 1699, the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed between the Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary-Venice and Poland. During our visit, we will see the four-doored building where the treaty was signed, as well as the square, the fountain with four lions, the historic high school, and the Orthodox and Catholic churches. After a coffee break, we continue our journey. On the way, we will see the Belgrade Gate, clock tower, Upper Town, Long Barracks, and Leopold Gate at Petrovaradin Fortress. Then we arrive in Novi Sad. Vojvodina is a multi-ethnic province in northern Serbia. Economically, it is the most developed region of Serbia, and its capital is Novi Sad. During our walking tour here, we will see Liberty Square, the People's Theatre, Tuna Street and its waterfront, the Svetozar Miletić Statue, the Catholic Cathedral, the Orthodox St. George Cathedral, St. Nicholas Church, and the Synagogue panoramically. Overnight at our hotel.
