Granada was a Muslim city in the Middle Ages, and this city was protected by a magnificent fortress known as Alhambra, located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which became the subject of fairy tales. The Alhambra Palace dominated the skies of Granada with its location and 37 towers accompanying its high walls. Construction took more than 150 years. However, what makes the Alhambra Palace the most visited place in Spain is more than just being a well-protected military shelter. It is a palace where pleasure and enjoyment were enjoyed in its elegant courtyards, deadly intrigues, and at the same time the largest and most beautiful example of Islamic architecture in the West. The enchanting palace, which seems to have come out of the 1001 Nights tales, was lost to Queen Isabel by Sultan 12. Muhammad (Boabdil) at an unexpected moment and in an unforeseen way. In the same year, it was declared the royal capital of the Spanish Kingdom, and royal decisions launching Christopher Columbus's voyage were made here. All stories of the palace known today were compiled by the famous writer Washington Irving under the title Tales of the Alhambra. The capital Madrid is the city with the most impressive night lighting in the country. During our tour; we will find ourselves suddenly on Gran Via, the most luxurious street of the 1900s, while watching the huge statue of Cybele, the nature goddess depicted on her chariot drawn by lions, at the Cibeles Fountain and its enchanting view. Then we will come to the Palacio Real, the most powerful yet artistic and historical magnificent palace of the city. Here we will also see Mercado de San Miguel, the world-famous gourmet market accepted as a meeting point for pleasant conversations and on-the-go dinners by people. After San Miguel, we will go to Plaza Mayor, the most valuable square of the city, which is a real architectural symphony. The city, surrounded by the Tagus River, built on protected steep cliffs and surrounded by high walls, has always been a valuable city throughout history from Romans to Visigoths, from Andalusia to the Spanish Kingdom. Also, Toledo, which was the center of Judaism on the Iberian Peninsula until the late 15th century, houses many important structures ranging from Europe's oldest synagogue still standing, dozens of churches converted from mosques, to the magnificent cathedral where Spain was religiously governed, and is like a mosaic where three heavenly religions and peoples intermingled. Until the Empire moved its capital to Madrid in 1561, the city of Toledo was the political, cultural, commercial and military center; it also served as an inspiration source for Cervantes' immortal work Don Quixote of La Mancha, and a large part of the story takes place in this city and its surroundings, and for all these reasons, Toledo has found its place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Among the places we will see during our tour; the famous lookout hill where you can photograph the magnificent view of the city remaining from the 16th century almost like a painting, San Martin Bridge, San Juan Monastery, Jewish Quarter, Santo Tome Church, Santa Maria Cathedral Square, the shopping street where you can find everything unique to the city, and the central square of the city Zocodover Square. During the free time after the tour, you can taste Mazapan, almond paste unique to Toledo, and try Manchego, matured sheep cheese recognized worldwide by Spain and named after this region. - Breakfasts included in the tour package are served according to the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally as a limited continental menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.
- Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, organized for general introduction to cities, conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include entry to museums or historical sites. If panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, cannot be visited or entered due to restrictions imposed by local authorities on the scheduled day and time, closure due to any event, impassable roads, or impossible weather conditions, tueswaytravel shall not be held responsible for the inability to conduct said tours. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot, where possible, at points where vehicle access is restricted or roads are closed.
- At customs checkpoints crossed by road during travel, waiting times may exceed standard limits; tueswaytravel cannot be held liable for any negative consequences arising from such waiting times.
- Extra tours are organized by the local tueswaytravel partner with a minimum participation requirement of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, excursions may not take place, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, tour dates and times may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and historical sites at the destinations are open or closed, and weather conditions.
- Extra tours are optional and depend on the participant's preference. Passengers who choose not to participate in extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same location after the main tour is completed.
- Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in flight-based tours are personal processes and must be completed by the guest at the airport counters of the relevant airline or online via the airline's website prior to the flight.
- tueswaytravel is not responsible for guests failing to board their flights due to not being present at the designated airport at the time specified by tueswaytravel for tour participation, failing to complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or completing them on time but not boarding the aircraft. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area required for passengers who miss their flight to join the tour are borne by the passengers themselves.
- tueswaytravel acts as an intermediary between the passenger and the airline and is subject to the 1955 Hague Protocol dated 28.09. Children aged 0-2 years are exempt from paying airport taxes and airport service fees.
