Samos Island Guided Tour Package: 3 Nights, 4 Days

We meet at 07:30 at Kuşadası Port (Scala Nuova). After completing our passport procedures, we depart at 08:30 by fast ferry and, after approximately 45 minutes of enjoyable sea travel, arrive at the center of Samos Island, Vathy Port. On some dates, our guide will meet you at Samos Port to join the tour from there.
(Guests joining from Seferihisar will be met by our guide at Samos Port.)

 To expedite procedures for guests who need to obtain a visa on arrival, we recommend sitting near the port area on the ferry.

Our check-in time at the hotels is 15:00, though early check-in may be possible depending on room availability.

In the afternoon, we meet at 16:00 at the location specified by our guide and begin exploring Vathy with our guide. During our approximately one-and-a-half-hour walking tour, we start discovering Vathy. Throughout this enjoyable walk, our guide shares information about the island's rich history, daily life culture, local lifestyle, charming cafes, delicious restaurants, and entertainment spots. As we wander through narrow streets, we get up close with both the past and the present spirit of Samos.

During our walk, we see the region's only Catholic Church, currently abandoned. With its silence and mystical atmosphere, this structure stands out as one of our special stops shedding light on the island's multicultural past.

Next, we reach Lion Square, considered the heart of the city and Samos' oldest and still actively used town square. Here, we view the lion statue that symbolizes the square and explore the historic fabric around it. The Municipal Building and Archaeological Museum, located around the square, are included in our tour as structures carrying significant traces of the island's history.

In the final part of our tour, we conclude at the monument of Themistoklis Sofoulis, an important figure in modern Greek history and known as Samos' first President. At this meaningful spot, we take commemorative photos and imprint Vathy's atmosphere, where history and culture intertwine, into our memories.

During your remaining free time, you can sit at cafes overlooking Vathy, take a walk along the coast, or enjoy the sea.

In the evening, one of the most authentic experiences reflecting the soul of the island awaits you. In our extra-organized Taverna Night program, we enjoy ourselves in a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by live Greek music. The menu served during the night includes unlimited ouzo and wine. Guests wishing to continue the evening's festivities at different venues can request recommendations from our guide.

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we meet at the port at 09:30 and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first view the Vathy area panoramically and receive general information about the island's layout.

Then we turn our route to Kokari, one of the most photogenic spots on the island. After our guide shows us the area panoramically and provides information, free time is offered here. Guests who wish can enjoy the turquoise sea, take a walk along the beach, or take great photos against postcard-worthy backdrops.

Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. In this enchanting area with its historical texture and seaside atmosphere, we tour with our guide; we learn about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the port area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument.

Then, free time is offered for a pleasant lunch break by the seaside at some of the region's most popular restaurants. You have the opportunity to try fresh seafood and flavors of Greek cuisine.

On the way back, we make a short shopping break at Lidl, one of Europe's largest supermarket chains. Here you can find both affordable products and local specialties.

After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, your day is entirely yours. If you wish, you can swim at the island's beautiful beaches and enjoy the sun and crystal-clear waters in turquoise coves.

You can take pleasant walks through Vathy streets, pause for Greek coffee at seaside cafes, or buy island souvenirs in gift shops. Guests who wish may rent a car to explore different beaches and villages of the island and find opportunities to swim in hidden coves.

Today is a pleasant free time day where you can absorb Samos' peaceful atmosphere and make your own plans.

After our morning breakfast, we check out of our rooms. You can leave your luggage at the hotel and enjoy the last moments of the island until the ferry departure time.

An unforgettable experience is offered for guests who wish to participate in the Optional Private Boat Tour. Departing from Vathy Port, our boat, which accommodates a maximum of 20 people, takes us on a pleasant blue voyage lasting approximately 4 hours, with swimming stops in coves that are inaccessible by land.

At our return time, we meet at the port and queue for passport control. After completing passport procedures and free shop shopping, we board the ferry and arrive in Kuşadası after an approximately 45-minute journey.
